A Ghost-type Pokemon like Gengar or Dragapult is helpful for this fight, as it will be immune to its Fighting-type moves. Bring lots of Ultra Balls if you intend to take down this member of the Swords of Justice without throwing away your Master Ball, and be sure to save beforehand — this isn't a Dynamax battle, so if you make Cobalion faint it will be gone. Get it down to low HP using super-effective moves and then focus on keeping your own Pokemon alive while throwing as many Ultra Balls as possible.
