Why does pnp turn yellow

The AlCl 3. The p—nitrophenol PNP, Ltd Shandong, China. All other chemicals analytical grade were used without any other purification, and the ultrapure water resistivity at The graphene oxide was prepared by a modified Hummers method After that, the suspension was centrifuged, and the precipitation was washed with DMF and methanol four times, sequently.

The reduced graphene oxide RG was synthesized via solvothermal method without terephthalic acid and AlCl 3. All the tests were performed in triplicates. The adsorptive quantity was calculated as follows:. How to cite this article : Wu, Z. Sun, Y. Hierarchically porous NiAl-LDH nanoparticles as highly efficient adsorbent for p-nitrophenol from water. But I'm doing a lab using a well plate to do spectroscopy to create a standard curve for pNP. I have a micro-molar solution of stock pNP paranitrophenol, given to us so I assume its dissolved in water. The stock solution is probably colorless and will change after I dilute it because the instructions say that the solution will turn yellow after diluting with NaOH. So the current goal is to create dilute solutions of 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, and 70 micro-molars. Add a comment. Active Oldest Votes.
